Rules & Regulations

The Millennial Hostels have certain rules to be followed by the students staying in the hostel. Any violation of the hostel rules is an infringement of the student's agreement with “The Millennial Hostels”, which may result in the hostel's right to cancel the agreement.

The housing authority may, at its sole discretion, alter the following rules from time to time.

Basic Rules:

  • Pets inside the hostel are not entertained.
  • The representatives of the Millennial Hostels reserve the right to conduct spot checks on the hostel and rooms without previous warning to the students.
  • The hostel is not liable for any shipments or parcels left at the hostel. Students are asked to organise and collect their goods as soon as the delivery person arrives at their hostel.
  • All food held in the room/common area/pantry must be stored in appropriate containers or firmly wrapped to prevent insects or rats from obtaining it. Stale, incomplete, or discarded food must be disposed of quickly in the pantry's dustbins.
  • Millennial Hostels supplies a variety of consumables for the entertainment/games area, such as remote batteries and game/sports accessories such as darts, dice, cue sticks, rackets, and so on. The students are responsible for keeping it in good condition. Any loss or damage to the aforementioned consumables must be borne by the person who is liable for such loss or damage.
  • Under the supervision of The Millennial Hostels, electricians, contractors, or other service personnel may enter rooms as needed in the course of their duties and they are responsible for ensuring that all such activity is carried out in a safe and secure manner.
  • The keys to the rooms and the almirah must be kept safe by the students. They will be responsible for the expense of key replacement in the event of a loss. It is forbidden to replace the locks on the almirah and the main entrance without the written approval of the Millennial Hostels Representatives.
  • Before entering the house, all visitors must register at the hostel's reception area and give all information and documents asked by the security team.
  • If a critical or communicable sickness is diagnosed, students must notify the hostel's officials quickly to avoid other students from becoming infected.
  • Students are not allowed to take any medication unless it has been prescribed by a licenced physician.
  • The speed of the internet will be determined by the service provider and the hostel's location. Each user's speed will be regulated, and it may be altered based on the policy.

  • The students must always act in a lawful manner and refrain from harassing others. Furthermore, all students must respect each other's personal views, ensuring that no one offends anyone's religious sensibilities, opinions, or practises in any way.
